"Excellent Caring Staff"

About: Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

I was sent by my GP to AMU (M) for assessment due to breathlessness after a replacement knee operation.

I was unable to sit on the waiting room chairs due to extreme discomfort (one week only after the operation). The lovely nurses allowed me to rest on a bed for four hours instead.Next day I had a scan through VTE - again lovely people - and returned on two following days for yet more scans.

Throughout I was treated with dignity and respect.

A lot is written in criticism of the NHS but I was extremely impressed with the staff and equipment.

Don't have a sandwich though! Stale and dry!

Dear Sally

We are pleased to hear you were extremely impressed with the staff following your recent visit to our hospital. We hope you are feeling better now and recovering well from your knee replacement. Your kind comments will be passed to the matron in AMU.

Kind regards
