"RLI Breast Screening Clinic"

I went to the Breast Screening Clinic as had found lumpy area. I was offered Lancaster rather than Barrow as I could be seen sooner. It took 4 working days from GO referral. I was very anxious and worried. The staff are very calm and reassuring. The doctors are simply marvellous and so thorough. I had mammograms , ultrasound and biopsies( painless) all done then and there. Thankfully the doctors are not concerned and are just being extra cautious as I am one of those extra worriers.

My biopsy results will be telephoned to me next week -I have been given a day and time when to expect the phone call. I really cannot praise this unit enough. Be prepared to wait - the team are so thoroughl it's worth waiting !
