My patient journey through Audiology was very poor, lots of waiting around and no explanation. The journey to Audiology through the hospital was long and difficult and the parking cost was a deterrent. The Hospital staff failed to tell me about the free battery supply and retubing service for hearing aids offered at various locations in Medway by the local charity HI KENT, but I managed to find out about this and am receiving great help, free of charge from this fantastic organisation, they must be saving the NHS thousands of pounds and they also are saving me repeat visits to the hospital and more parking costs.
