"Fantastic Experience in the waterlily birthing..."

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

I had my son in the new waterlily birthing centre 5/7/2016,the room was lovely and very clean my midwive stayed with us at all times untill my son was born it was nice to have the 1 to 1 care. I had my son in the birthing pool it was very relaxing, helped with the pain and the whole experience made it a special time for me and my partner. All the staff was very helpful and caring and my midwive was lovely, they were very supportive and let me make my own decisions, made sure I had drink and food after i had my son and also helped me breastfeed also the central delivery suite was very busy and I believe there was some emergencies with other women but some how the staff still managed to look after me and my newborn son. So thank you to my midwife and other staff for making the birth of our son such a special time.

Thank you for taking the time to post these comments of your experience of having your baby in the new Waterlilly Birthing Centre. It is wonderful to hear that you had such a positive experience and I am sure that the midwives concerned will be pleased to know that they helped to make it such a special moment for you and your partner. I hope that all is going well for you and your new baby son.
