"Endoscopy Department"

About: Rotherham Hospital

I recently underwent a gastroscopy and colonoscopy in this department on the same day and chose not to have anaesthetic for either procedure.

From arriving in the department to undergoing the procedures and the aftercare I was given, I have to say I was treated with dignity, respect, great care with a good pinch of sense of humour (very important to me as both procedures were quite embarrassing)!

I was put at ease straight away and didn't have long to wait before being taken through for the procedures.

Everyone was briliiant and the care I was given from start to finish was amazing.

Thank you very much to all of you, your department is a credit to you!
