"Hip -op !!"

I had a hip replacement on the 31st May. I am delighted with the treatment I received. The theatre team were fantastic and talked me through the whole process. The consultant did a fantastic job performing the hip replacement. They also explained in detail what would be happening. After I was sent to ward D2 where I was treated with the upmost respect. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were pleasant, professional and made me feel relaxed. I was then introduced to the OT and Physio team. Once again the treatment was amazing. Everything was done efficiently and with patience. I received an out patients appointment for 3 weeks after the op. There I was introduced to a lovely member of staff. I have been attended by this member of staff for the last 4 weeks. It has been such a pleasure to have been treated by them. They are excellent at their job. They couldn't have given me any better treatment than they have. They have tried lots of exercises with me and has liaised with their colleagues to get it exactly right. I would like to thank the whole Stepping Hill team. The Consultant, the theatre team, the ward staff, the OT and the physio team. I would especially like to thank this member of staff for being so pleasant, patient and obliging. I understand they are returning to the MRI this week. I wish this lovely person the very best of luck for the future.
