"Incredible staff! Thank you!"

I can't praise the staff highly enough. We had a pretty long stay in the Dacre ward while I was induced, and I gave birth in the consultant led unit 3 days later. We had lovely staff at all times who were reassuring, listened to my requests and most importantly made decisions that kept both me and baby safe during a traumatic final part of labour where we were whisked into theatre. They made sure both myself and my husband knew what was going on at all times, and the doctors and anaesthetist, although in and out far quicker than the midwives, provided excellent care. Aftercare in the Gloucester ward was equally good, and although I often had questions to ask, I never felt I was being a burden. Thank you!

Your bedside manners and sense of humour with us made what could have been a very difficult birth still a very happy (and even sometimes funny!) time!
