"Cancer Care"

I was seen just 6 days after referral from my doctor. Diagnosis of bowel cancer was confirmed. advice and further investigations and key-hole surgery occurred within a month. Nursing care in Dene ward excellent - and 'care' was indeed the key word. first class and I was home and walking up and down stairs within four days. Thanks to my surgeon's skill I'm left without scars - Thank you to all the surgical team, nursing and support staff for their patience advice and support throughout this traumatic time. Where else in the world is possible to receive such care as this as of right and free at point of delivery? I am just beginning my Chemotherapy and have nothing but praise for this unit's care, consideration and after-hours care. Thank you KGH and Thank you NHS.
