"My Hospital Stay and OP at YDH"

I was admitted to YDH for further investigation for abdominal pain which in the end resulted in my having to have key hoe surgery which went well no infection to date still healing the hospital was clean and looked fresh , The Ward its self was clean and accommodating. The Staff were really good with every one in the ward as far as i Could see , the Cleaning Staff were excellent too so friendly and chatty which is nice to see Happy People in there work.Information came in dribs and drabs and for me suffering from aniexty was great for me as i was getting little bits of information I could digest before getting the next lot. I usually go to musgrove for any treatment or emergencies as locally it is know as the better hospital but i am really starting to have doubts as YDH in my Opinion seemed to run a lot smoother and the staff from cleaners to doctors seemed friendlier.

THE only negative I have is there was not enough information on wound care and when to take the dressing off etc after discharge a little after care sheet with the discharge form would have been really helpful.
