I went to the new theatre admissions unit for an operation to remove a lump in my leg. I arrived at the unit at 7.15 with an operation planned for the day.
The new unit was excellent and the were first class We had comfortable chairs to in. The only problem was that I waited from 3 until 5, before I was taken through for my operation as well as many other patients who were waiting for ages. During the time, I had no food and drink.
I had my operation and stayed in hospital all night. The staff were excellent. I took them some chocolates and a card to say thank you.
The food was also very good. An excellent service, except for the long wait!
