The hospital is pretty rough around the edges in some places you can tell its old but the ward I was on ward 4 was nice apart from the attitudes of some of the nurses. Most were lovely but a few spoke to my wife and mother like crap if I hadn't been in such pain and on morphine pump I would of started shouting back at them. I was moved from one ward to ward 4 and the person who dropped me off left me with my pca on the floor and informed no one I had arrived. That's when the shouting started because my wife said to the nurses what was going on and was screamed at for aperntly telling them how to do their job. The surgeons were amazing. One of them spent so much time with me and made me so comfortable before the surgery and after and always had time for their patients but just watch out for some of the nurses as some can be evil and seem to care more about themselves than you. Not all were like it some were angels and I cannot say a bad word about them. I can't name names and won't get into the other horror stories as it involves a big bleed from me and confusion by people leaving me thinking it was the end. I spent 2weeks there and pray I never have to go back.
