About: Westmorland General Hospital

What could have been an unpleasant experience turned to be OK due to the kindness and care I received from the nurses. I am a type 1 diabetic and great care was taken regarding the monitoring of my blood glucose levels. I have nothing but praise for the staff in that department. I was treated with dignity and respect at all times. Unfortunately prior to the procedure I was unimpressed with the way I was treated but the actual experience made up for that.
