"A&E visit"

Just paid a visit to the accident and emergency department this morning, arrived at 8.15 am with my granddaughter who was in severe pain following surgery on her mouth. She was seen by a nurse within ten minutes of arrival and told she would have to see a doctor, over two hours later still sat there whilst we noticed on of the staff had relatives in and was seen and dealt with inside 20 minutes this seems to be quite inapropriate as many people had been sat waiting over two hours. When a nurse was approached about the length of time we had been waiting the nurse went away and inside of 5 minutes we were seen by a doctor who questioned my granddaughter about her problem the looked at her mouth and said the doctor would prescribe medication but if the problem continued she had to call 111 emergency doctor which defeats the object of having accident and emergency. So in finishing we spent from 8.15 to 11am to get told next time ring up this on top of the £5 parking fee was a complete shambles as following that we had to go to another part of the hospital to get the prescription filled. This hospital is a disgrace for patients with over a 2 hour wait for a doctor with only 16 patients waiting to see one. This needs to be remedied as there were plenty of staff stood around just talking, would hate to see it at its busiest time people would be there for days. Also heard one of staff tell another member of staff that some blood was on one of the chairs this was totally ignored,so much for cleanliness and health and safety.
