"Children's outpatients repeat prescriptions"

About: The Great Western Hospital

My child has multiple issues and is seen regularly in children's outpatients which on its own is fine staff are quite friendly and the waiting can sometimes be tedious but they do what they can. The thing that I find very frustrating is getting hold of the secretaries for repeat prescriptions, when you do eventually get hold of somebody you are told that the prescription will be able to be collected by a certain day, then when you call it hast even been sent down! At one point I spent 2 weeks ringing secretaries and boots trying to sort out meds.

I understand people are busy but seriously 2 weeks?
