About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Ambulance crew were very professional.

Most of the nursing staff were caring and considerate of my needs.

What could be improved

The food was dreadful. I went nearly a week with out being able to stomach the inedible slop and I am sure no one noticed or monitored the fact I had not eaten. Also went a whole night with out access to water.

Tramadol seemed to be dished out at night to everyone on the ward. This drug I believe made me feel even more unwell.

Anything else?

The ensuite toilet became blocked. There was a urine sample on the back of the toilet for 2 days.

I actually came home feeling more unwell than when I was admitted.
