"I have my faith back in the NHS and Raigmore"

I previously wrote a negative experience on here about being abandonded by neurology and the gp cutting me off from the service once my initial scan was clear. I became unwell and losing my balance and co ordination, with many other issues taking a progression and since leaving my loved job and felt very alone during this time and as the scan was clear my gp was unwilling to do anything else or refer me back.

Since this, the wonderful Maimie put me back in touch with an amazing neurologist Dr Artal who has spent several months doing all possible to help my situation and finally my gp is also trying to help.

I just wanted to say it was the such a lonely low feeling, but thanks to this page and these two great people, I have my faith back in the NHS and Raigmore, so thank you.

I am really pleased that Maimie was able to put you in touch with Dr Artal, and that you are now getting the support that you need. I will make sure that they receive your feedback.

I recognise that it is very difficult for people to share their views, so we are grateful to Patient Opinion for helping our patients feel confident to share their concerns, and sometimes their fears, safely. This is one of the ways that we continually learn, so I would encourage people to post their opinions, both good and bad, about our services on line.
