"This is how every NHS hospital should be!"

Was offered gallbladder surgery at the golden jubilee hospital as the waiting times in Edinburgh were very long and happily accepted.

From start to finish the care I received at the day surgery unit was exceptional. Every member of staff I came into contact with, from the nurses to the surgeon himself were friendly, professional and reassuring. The unit itself is spotlessly clean, large and bright. I honestly felt like I was in a hotel rather than a hospital.

This was my first ever surgery and I was quite nervous but my nerves were greatly reduced by the caring and attentive staff on the unit. I'm now four days post op and feel better than I have in years thanks to the staff at the Golden Jubilee.
