"they don’t appear to have listened"

About: Children & younger people's services / Children's Speech and Language Therapy

(as a parent/guardian),

I have received a letter following my son’s assessment last April but the letter is a load of rubbish. It says that my other children were late talkers, suggesting that my youngest son’s problems are perhaps something that runs in the family but this is not true. I have no idea what they have based this on. There were others things I spoke to them about, about my son’s problems but none of these things have been mentioned in the letter, they don’t appear to have listened to anything I have told them.
