"Xray"

About: Broomfield Hospital

I visited X-ray today with my wife who has dementia the radiographer asked my wife to remove her trousers as thay had bits of metal on them and put a gown on

I left her to do it but when I looked she had taken her top off the radiographer came back and said oh you not ready yet I have got it all set up then they quickly examined her trousers and said oh I think we can get away with that otherwise we will be here forever. Not the way I exspect a nurse to treat my wife

I really appreciate you taking the time to share. We pride ourselves on how we talk to patients and relatives and apologise that this was not the case. I will forward the feedback to the Imaging Manager who will action. Best wishes, Jonathan Wright
