"lumbar decompression surgery"

About: Princess Margaret Hospital

The aftercare was very poor, especially overnight when it was almost non existent. I was told to try not to use the patient controlled pain relief as it was inconvenient for them, caused more work. Had I not brought in my own drinks I would have been severely dehydrated. Drinks were few and far between, lucky if got 2 small cups of tea a day, no water... really apart from a private room was no better than an nhs stay, very busy and it shows.
