"Efficient and kind treatment"

I have recently had several outpatient visits to the Urology dept. in Grantham, thanks to an 'urgent referral' from my GP - a recurrence of previous cancer was obviously a possibility.

The staff on the endoscopy, pre-op assessment and the day ward and theatre were, without exception, very careful with the patient notes, efficient in dealing with me as quickly as possible, and above all kind and helpful, which for someone in an anxious state makes all the difference.

The Surgeon came to see me before I left - something which did not happen in 5 days after a visit to a large hospital for an operation.

Perhaps I should not name it, but I was given the choice of where to go, and delighted I chose Grantham.
