We arrived for a post knee replacement Physiotherapy rehabilitation appointment at St Mary's. We secured an urgent appointment very quickly for our mum. When we arrived we found the cars have no access to praed street near the winsland rd entrance in Churchill wing. I ran down to the Physio rehab reception and a very helpful desk staff arranged a wheelchair very quickly for us. We had a very thorough Physio with a physiotherapist who was so kind to our mum and put her at ease for her assessment. On the way out as it's difficult access for cars mum would have to walk with her frame a few yards a member of staff very kindly offered to get the wheel chair and waited half an hour with us as it took so long on the one ways for my brother to return with the car. I didn't this member of staff was on a lunch break while they waited. When the car arrived they wheeled mum all the way down to a ramp and up again in the rain right up to the door of the car. I have to congratulate this hospital ok excellent Physio care of our mum from making the appointment to the actual appointment to making the next appointment. Very big praise to the member of staff with a big heart and an amazing team. Our sincerest thanks for a most unique and humbling experience at this hospital.
