I recently had Colonoscopy & Gastroscopy at St Helens Hospital.
A week before the procedure all was explained and the diet and medicine had had to take on the day before. On the day, again an explanation, a change of clothes and a sedative was given.
A little apprehension on my part.
The process was not at all painful, just a little uncomfortable.
A cup of coffee and a biscuit and the result were mostly given on the day and further letters sent to my own Doctor.
Everyone concerned was marvellous, both professional and extremely pleasant. Once again thank you to all.
