About: St Mary's NHS Treatment Centre (Portsmouth)

I cannot speak highly enough of the Endoscopy Unit at St Marys. I had a colonoscopy on 4th July 2016.

Although feeling extremely anxious on arrival

I had no need to be so as the

Staff were very professional and caring and took time to explain everything to me and provided reassurance all the way.

I was treated with dignity and the Consultant discussed the procedure and options with me beforehand.

The nurse in theatre had close contact with me the whole time.

When in a vulnerable situation it was so reassuring to know that someone was there just in case. I cannot thank the team enough for their professionalism. The experience was a very positive one from the moment I booked in at the reception to the end of the procedure.
