"PICU saved our son's life"

About: Glenfield Hospital

Our six year old son was transferred to picu suffering from toxic shock syndrome. Glenfield isn't our local hospital but it was the nearest picu available that Friday night. If not for Glenfield picu we would have been over 50 miles from home. The staff showed care and professionalism and we are in no doubt that they saved our son's life. They also made the worst time of our lives a little more bearable. We were there for 13 days and truly valued the parent accomodation, the reduced parking charges and the kindness shown to us by everyone we met.
