"Prompt response and action"

About: Winfield Hospital

Following a recent fusion operation on my lower spine I left hospital wearing stockings and was told I needed to wear them as long as I was not fully mobile. My husband trying to be kind washed the stockings and inadvertently placed them into the tumble drier. The result was that he could not get them back on. He tied to replace them at the chemist but was told he would need a visit from the district nurse who would measure me and order them. The next day still not having heard anything he went into the doctors and asked if the was a prescription. There was not but was assured he would hear later in the day. Nothing happened so I phoned your hospital and explained. They kindly sent me a replacement pair of stockings by return of post.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I do hope your recovery is progressing well. Winfield staff are always available to offer advice and support to patients after discharge and I am pleased we were able to assist with your replacement stockings.
