My daughter has been under the care of the Neurology department for the last 2 1/2 years following a 2 week stay in the stroke ward.
Fortunately for her, what was thought to be MS cleared up and the diagnosis in June 2016 was 2 severe attacks of inflammation on the brain and the top of the spinal column.
Throughout all her appointments and treatment, we could not fault any member of staff, certainly the 2 consultants were so friendly, reassuring and explained everything in a way we could understand.
When we were given the excellent new in June, the Consultant was as happy as we were, such a lovely person and a huge credit to their profession.
I have no hesitation in saying that this hospital and its staff are certainly a cut above the rest.
Parking is at a reasonable price and there is no shortage of spaces, the hospital entrance is inviting and the food in the restaurant is very good, plenty of choice.
"Excellent care"
