"Breast clinic"

This morning I attended the breast unit having been referred on the two week wait pathway eight days ago. All of the staff were wonderful. The receptionists were polite , friendly and approachable. The specialist nurse , support workers, radiographer (and their assistant) and the staff nurses were all friendly and professional even though they were dealing with a busy clinic . With my consent, my husband was included in the consultations wherever possible which we both found comforting. I know no one ever wants to have to attend a hospital but I can honestly say that my whole visit to the breast unit was a positive experience and I am grateful for the way we were treated.
