"Appointment and communication."

I received a letter on the 7th July 2016, saying I failed to keep an appointment for the 5th July, the result of which is, I've now been discharged from the service 'in line with Trust Policy'. What appointment ! I never received one. I've been waiting in pain for weeks to see someone only to get this. Yes, I understand this is not necessary the depts. fault as it could have been lost in the post but, an email reminder would have been useful, then I would have known that an appointment would have been made, thus saving pain and suffering, loss of time and expenditure for both sides etc.To add to that, the telephone number provided on the letter heading isn't working. I tried several times to phone, to no avail !

I am very disappointed and disillusioned with the Podiatry dept, if this is the result of trying to obtain an appointment, what would have happened to me if I attended. I think fate stepped in and helped me out ! You need to buck your ideas up !
