I was transferred late on 30th July to AMU from A&E. Staff on
A& E were very busy but I was treated quickly and with dignity by all staff. I would like to mention a HCA on AMU who told me they had been there many years. It showed, they were efficient and caring and made lots of needed cups of tea for my daughter who spent many hours at my bedside. The nurses up there work so hard often without a break and running around organising everything, but it is the HCA's who should get special mention for all their work in keeping the wards running, quick changeover of beds when someone discharged and getting to know the patient. Another asset to the ward was another HCA who introduced themself on a night shift to all patients they are an asset.
Thank you for all your care. Keep up the good work.
