"Physio appointment"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

Been waiting now for over 10 weeks for a physio appointment for a an ongoing back and leg problem. I have been told that I will wait another 10 weeks before I get my appointment. I think this timescale is unacceptable and would be grateful if someone could look into this for me,

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear mo j caine,

Oh I am sorry, it sounds as if that will be very restricting and I have to say, it does seem a long time to wait for Physiotherapy. I am aware that the demand is very high on the service but I will be happy to look into this for you if you can contact me and give me some details. It may be that there are other options available but I would need to check this out. My contact details are phone - 01563 826222 or email - Eunice.goodwin@aapct.scot.nhs.uk

Thank you for getting in touch.

Best wishes,

Eunice
