"Simply Amazing"

About: Broadgreen Hospital

I was taken to Broadgreen following a heart attack, the doctors consultant and nurses were nothing short of amazing. I was quite frightened as i'm 33, had a heart attack and had just been told that I was type 1 diabetic as well. The nurses were so kind and explained everything that was going on and had plenty of advice and took the time to put me at ease.

I was moved from the critical care unit to a ward where the nurses and catering staff were friendly kind and warm which is something lacking in other places but so important when you are facing the unknown and scared of what is ahead. As I'd been told that I was diabetic I met with the diabetic nurses who were informed and more helpful than I can say, they have helped me to adjust and helped me with tech to monitor my bloods as I struggled with the normal lancing units. I'm so grateful to everyone at Broadgreen, a clean, friendly and efficient hospital. Thank you.
