"What a shame"

About: Salisbury District Hospital

Having spent 8 days in SDH and seeing how hard they all work it's such a shame that they let themselves down at the end, on leaving I was told that I had no staples and could go home take the dressings off and shower and I would receive a follow up appointment within 3 months, this I did only to find I had infact 20 staples and now no dressing (not given any) no ideas as to when they should be taken out and no one to ask as it was late on Friday evening. Next day (Saturday) I phoned the ward only to be told they no longer had my notes and could not help but they would supply some dressing if we went to get them. I had to wait until Monday to try and find some answers and was told I should have been referred to a district nurse. My GP surgery then had to try and fit me in as the staples needed taking out.
