"Gave help and support in time of need"

About: Crawley Hospital

After arriving in Gatwick airport my husband was taken ill. We were 200 miles from home and found details of this walk in centre on the internet. The doctor who examined him was professional and reassuring, rang East Surrey hospital and arranged transport. My husband was admitted to the hospital and spent 15 nights there until he was stable enough to transport to a hospital closer to home. Thanks to the walk in centre who realised immediately how I'll he was. In addition, when the doctors surgery in whose area I was staying during this time refused to register me as a temporary patient, the walk in centre came to my rescue by agreeing to provide an emergency prescription for myself for regular medication I needed as naturally I had not packed additional medication with this emergency in mind. Much needed help at a very stressful time
