"Not what i expected"

I have problems with my lower back, and went there to fix it. Physio told me that the pain is normal for my condition (scheuermanns disease) and thats all...

Also gave me set of exercises but they didnt work and advice me to call them again after few monts for antoher appt. So i did it and they told me that i have been already discharged and have to go again to GP (in real its mean that next visit gonna be in 2-3 months) ...... Also when i asked for MRI scan they refused straight ahead. Bad service in my opinion

Thank you for your feedback and sorry that we have failed to meet your expectations.

I can only apologise that there appears to have been a misunderstanding with regards to your follow up appointment.

Without having any specific details, it is very difficult to investigate, however it is normal procedure for patients to be given a timeframe in which to make contact with the service to book a further appointment.

If we do not hear from patients in this time, they are discharged back to the GP.

I am sorry if there was a misunderstanding over this agreed time period.

I am also sorry that the exercises and advice you were given did not help your condition.

An MRI scan rarely helps in these cases and does not change the long term management.

There are however other management and diagnostic options, which can be explored.

As the Clinical Lead, I would be keen to discuss your issues in more detail, please feel free contact the service directly and ask to speak to the Clinical Lead.

I would like to apologise again on behalf of the service for your experience.
