I was admitted to Wansbeck hospital with a perforated bowel in May 2015, I received emergency treatment which involved the creation of a stoma, care in the high dependency unit and convalescence at Berwick infirmary. My treatment was at all times excellent, compassionate and efficient.
In 2016 I underwent surgery to reverse the stoma. Again the care I received was excellent.
Information given was clear and succinct, nursing care with effective and given with great consideration. I think I was extremely lucky to be treated in the trust's hospitals.
"Excellent surergy and care"
