"Surgery cancelled 3 times and no 28 day rule..."

Very disappointed in hereford county hospital gyne....I've waited 6 months for "urgent hysterectomy" it's been cancelled 3 times ...I've been told 28 day rule doesn't apply due to lack of surgeons in hereford! ....I ring and never get any date ...I've made formal complaint and heard nothing back.....really not happy with this as they are playing with people's lives! ....the 18 week pathway is a joke...I've they don't have the right surgeons, why not refer straight away to a hospital that does? Why keep patients waiting in limbo ? ...something really needs to be sorted out
