"GWH needs more praise"

Too often forums like this are used to whinge, rather than appreciating the incredible dedication and care at the Great Western Hospital.

I have had cancer and could not have been treated better.

Action was taken quickly and every step through diagnosis, surgery and chemotherapy was professional and caring.

I still go back for regular checks and occasionally have to wait a bit, but that is a small price to pay for the amazing free care by dedicated persons.

Too many take the NHS for granted and moan when we should just appreciate how well we are looked after - it is very different in other countries where costs can be enormous.
