About: St Richard's Hospital

After many visits to A and E at St Richards where I have always left thinking how lucky the people of Chichester are to have such a wonderful hospital.... I have tonight seen some of the worst care and respect for patients I have ever seen..people leaving and discharging themselves right left and centre...people who made the decision to leave with a variety of issues that may have been serious if not treated because they could not stand the indifference they were treated with.....

I hope what was witnessed tonight was a 1 off as it is so sad to feel the need to write this review at what for the most part in my view was the best that West Sussex had to offer with a team that was Second to none at St Richards...A sad state of affairs tonight

We are sorry to read your comments and apologise that you witnessed poor care and treatment when you visited our A&E department.

A&E has been extraordinarily busy but this is not an excuse for a poor experience.
