I had a 30mph crash & I had impacted very hard on to the road. I had escaped with cuts and bruises but I thought it wise to drop in to the minor injuries as I was very nearby. I was promptly checked in and saw the nurse practitioner soon afterwards on a Saturday around noon. All cuts and abrasions were cleaned. Fully checked for concussion. Wonderful service. In and out within an hour. Thank you. The only point I would mention is that it would be good imo for the X-ray be available during all opening hours though this was fortunately unnecessary for me.

We are very pleased that you received such a prompt and efficient service from the nurse practitioner on Saturday afternoon following your cycling accident.

We will pass your kind comments onto the staff there.

With regard to the x-ray department being open every day unfortunately we are only comissioned to provide this service from 8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday whereas the Minor Injury Unit is open 8am to 8pm, every day of the year.
