This unit was fantastic apart from when I had my first one to one with the admissions nurse. She didn't have a clue as to what I was getting and I felt very isolated. After this the other ladies and the doctor were great put my mind at ease. The 2 nurses I had were outstanding I have been panicking for days about my procedure to get my haemorrhoids banded and my bowel checked. Each nurse made my experience they spoke about things to take my mind of it and I honestly can't remember much apart from I'm very grateful.

Thank you for taking the time to post. I can understand why you were apprehensive before your procedure and I was glad to read that the nurses and the doctor who looked after you during your procedure were able to put your mind at ease. It was not so good to read that you were not given appropriate information when you were admitted to the unit and the way that this made you feel.

I will pass on your post to all the staff, who will be grateful for your comments. Your feedback will also give us the opportunity to review the information that we give our patients on admission to make sure that all our patients are well informed about every aspect of their journey.
