My GP referred me to Urology on Saturday June 10 on Monday the bookings team contacted me to bring the appointment forward to June 14. The treatment I received for the flexible cystoscopy both by the specialist responsible and the two nurses was excellent.

I was booked for a pre op 20th June for a rigid cystoscopy on June 28/29.

In the event the overnight stay was not necessary. The care and support I received was excellent - a first class NHS. The reassurance that it was done so promptly and an explanation of why the overnight was not necessary were done so professionally that I do not fear the result of the single biopsy the team felt it sensible to follow up on.

My thanks to the whole team anesthetist, surgeons, nursing staff in day care and recovery including the cleaner on the day care unit!
