"Patient satisfaction."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

From the minute I entered the hospital on Wednesday morning until my discharge on Friday patience is what was needed, but the rewards were great. The staff were friendly and willing to help in every way. My family and I were not afraid to ask for any information no matter how small and our requests were accepted and answered honestly. Yes we had to wait for what seemed to be long periods before the next phase of my treatment was completed but in an overworked NHS this has to be expected, but it is free and staff are subjected to the same constraints as we the patients are. Thankyou to everyone who cared for me and my family during my short unplanned stay in the hospital.

Accident and emergency were efficient and reassuring and ward E58 were exceptional in their care giving and provision of a warm and safe environment.
