My son Warren aged 28yrs had a massive brain bleed due to AVM damage that until 2.30am on the 8/4/12 Easter Sunday, I had no idea he was born with. Warren was born a miracle baby, after 2 ectopics I was told I wouldnt concive again, it was a miracle I did and Warren was born, he shouldn't be hear I was told. When this happened to my boy, it was such a massive bleed, I was told to prepair myself for his loss. Even after his surgery to fit his drains his chances were very slim indeed, but that didnt stop Salford Royal Nuro Team giving my son 100% plus. Care, attention, the absolute dedication every second every minute everyday they put into saving caring for Warren from ICU, C2, B7, and more was unbelievable. Every single step of the way. I was there for every single step and I was looked after. informed, concidered, helped, directed by all that were around me at Salford Royal. In my deepest, darkest, days, months... how do you thank these people... I wanted to give each if them a miracle of they own because they gave me a miracle. My boy back. Twice now my son is a miracle in his own right. Salford Royal may have booked in one patient that day, Warren, but they took on another... me. I dont even know if Warrens Team have any idea what they done for me and my son and his sister. If I could I would put my heart into each of them for a moment just so they could feel what I feel, how I feel.. the hospital cafe, the hospital shop, the hospitals receptionist, cleaners, security, as well as the drs, professionals made me feel like I had tourches of light shone for me by them in the longest, darkest, tunnel I have ever come through, and still do. If it wasnt for Salford Royal, The NHS, the top to bottom staff, I really dont know what would be. I've met some wonderful people, made some wonderful friends for the time of our stay (4mths) in Salford Royal (8mths) in Trafford General (1yr 22days) in total.. You Saved my miracle boy
who (i was told) shouldnt have been born because I wouldnt concive. You saved the man who will always be my baby boy. A Miracle once again I recieved.. Thank you from every inch of my mind, my heart, my body, and my soul.
