Thank-you very much for the care and attention to my father when he had a stroke a couple of weeks ago.
The staff were friendly, kind and willing to answer any of our many questions and supportive of the whole family. Excellent discharge and follow-up arrangements too which has made a great difference. The staff in both the assessment ward and stroke ward were great. My only comment would be - don't assume about the capabilities of an 87 year old. It was apparent to us a little while before you reached the conclusion, that he had had a stroke.
Your assumptions about old age fragility and memory delayed diagnosis. However it made no difference in the end. But please don't lose your caring approach it made all the difference to a really traumatic time.
"Excellent care"
