"The units & staff at Maternityn services"

Myself and my wife had a baby on the 27th June 2016 and had extensive experience of both the maternity ward & Sherwood birthing unit.

I have often heard varying reviews of Kings Mill in a general capacity but we are firm believers of personal experience. Therefore this is ours:

We are first time parents and at 42 & 43 fair to say on the elder side! Every single staff member that we met at the above units from receptionists, cleaners, meal staff, midwives, nurses (shall I go on...) treated us with a level of care & compassion that was personal, professional and incredibly supportive. It made a terrifying, emotional and exhilarating life experience that without the approach of all these individuals would have been almost untenable.

Today we went to Ward 25 upstairs from the above units as we had a panic (new time parent one) and again were treated by all staff in a most remarkable way.

Long winded I hope not!
