Too often we complain but forget to praise when we should, so...

I am writing to register my appreciation of the excellent treatment and care I recieved in North Tyneside General Hospital. I actually live in Brampton, well outside the North Tyneside area, but because of various circumstances I recently underwent a knee replacement operation there.

as a long-retired nurse - I qualified more than 50 years ago! - I have nothing but praise for the professionalism, efficiency, and caring attitude of everyone I came into contact with.

the whole team, from consultant to ward cleaner, were absolutely first-class. It would be unfair to single out individuals.

some say standards have fallen in the medical services over the years. From my experience, this is certainly not true of this hospital. You can be proud of it in North Tyneside.
