I will no longer use the above hospital unless it is absolutely necessary. I find the standard of hygiene appalling. In my opinion the nursing isn't much better. The last time I was in there for obs, I was in for just 20 hours. In that time I used a bedpan twice. It was thrust under me with such force, it hurt my hamstring. On both occasions I was covered in urine. The second time I was offered a wash. I was brought 2 wet wipes! I was sent home without medication and I rang and nobody knew anything about it. It eventually arrived in a taxi.

The parking is appalling and the lack of disabled spaces is noticeable for such a a large hospital. I use Wrightington hospital a lot, and believe me, the Victoria could learn a lot of lessons
