What I liked
Very little. Many of the staff seemed disinterested and moody although I had a minor procedure and the staff were mainly good. The consultant was kind but completely mis-diagnosed my life-threatening condition.
What could be improved
Almost everything. Lost test results,(the Cerner system is appalling) staff attitudes, the building itself. The consultant was obvioulsy under too much pressure. the communication in this hospital is also very poor and this puts patient's lives at risk. My condition was so severe (although it was not taken seriously) that I would be dead by now had I stayed at this hospital.
Anything else?
A poorly managed hospital from my point of view. I have visited twice. Both times I never recieved test results. The floor was filthy the first time I visited and I was never followed up after the operation I had. As I say, this hospital could've killed me. Thankfully, I am now under the care of an excellent hospital. The difference in standards is incredible.
"Very little. Many of the staff ..."
