"Knee operation"

I went to A & E in May 2016 because my knee was locked and couldn't free it.

It was a busy time with an estimated wait time of 3 hours.

When it was my time I was examined and sent for an X-ray .

Some manipulation was tried but with no success.

I was offered a couple of options which included being admitted to a ward with a view to operating over the weekend. Imagine my delight to be informed that the Surgeon had an available slot the next morning.

I was taken to theatre at 9.30am and discharged that afternoon.

A further point I had not had any food since breakfast, the Nurse in A&E brought me a delicious sandwich and a cup of tea. Thanks for that.

I have just seen the surgeon to get signed off, the surgeon was charm itself and shook my hand and said to get back to them if I have any problems..

Can't praise my treatment enough
